I know it is silly that I have to do this, but I must point out that the content and information in this whole web site is all "tongue in cheek". It is meant to be humorous and to poke a little fun at all of us who just can't seem to quit buying at antiques and collectibles.
Comments about other addictions, again, are done in tongue in cheek. We fully understand that real addictions are very serious. However, this site is NOT.
The articles on this site that discuss antiquers addiction are a parody. They are not real. (I know, but there is bound to be someone, somewhere who will think that this is actual science and therefore a real issue.)
So we are here to have fun. If you do not see the humor or think this is "politically incorrect', we regret that you don't see the humor. We also invite you to go play somewhere else if you don't like it here.
